Peter Dudley ’89 celebrates the November 13, 2024 release of the first collaborative book from his new publishing imprint, Gray Bear Publications. The book, RELIT: How to Rekindle Yourself in the Darkness of Compassion Fatigue, gives practical advice for avoiding and overcoming compassion fatigue and caregiver burnout. After publishing four novels and two poetry collections, this is Peter’s first book as editor and first project publishing other people’s words. After a 30-year career in startups, nonprofits, and global corporate responsibility, in 2022 he launched a professional leardership and life coaching practice where he helps people level up and make a difference. In 2023, he added book and writing coaching as well as assisted self-publishing services. He writes weekly about life, leadership, authenticity, and balance on his blog at graybearcoaching.com.

Elaine Fitch ’89, managing partner of Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch in Washington, D.C., was elected as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Election as a Fellow is the highest recognition by one’s colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication, and excellence. The installation of new Fellows is scheduled for November 16, 2024, in New York City. With the current installation, the College is represented by more than 1,500 members in 46 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and eight Canadian Provinces

This past summer, Sonya Sigler, ’89, was busy publishing the audio version and accompanying workbook for What’s Next for My Career? and the workbook for WELCOME to the Next Level, all of which are part of her PractiGal Career Mentor series. She and her husband Keir Morgan recently moved to Vancouver, WA where they enjoy picking berries, singing in the Vancouver Master Chorale, and exploring nearby wineries.
