Welcome to the Lair!

Located in Pinecrest, California in the Stanislaus National Forest, the Lair is where you reconnect with family, friends, teammates, co-workers, associates, and nature. We would love to have you join us in our beautiful mountain setting.

Family Camp

Families enjoy coming to the Lair as we do all the cooking, cleaning, and planning, so campers can make memories and enjoy their days to the fullest. We offer a jam-packed schedule of activities for all ages. Our staff leads age-appropriate activities so kids are engaged, which gives parents some ‘me’ time to play pickleball, relax at the pool, go on a hike, or take a yoga class. There is always something to do or explore. We hear often that families count down the days till they return next summer.

Oski Year-Round Cabins

The Lair has fifteen cabins for year-round use at Camp Oski. Each cabin sleeps up to six guests with a queen bed, bunk bed, and two single beds in the loft. Cabins have private bathrooms, heat, a mini-fridge, and more. Join us during one of our Fall or Winter at the Lair weekends and enjoy a cozy stay!

Oski Science Camp

During the fall and early spring, the Lair hosts a 3-night science camp for 6th graders. Students learn about thermal energy, astronomy, local fauna, and fire science. They also take hikes to the lake, do team building activities, play games at night, and of course, make their own s’mores at evening campfires.

TAAP Scholars take on the Lair

Last summer, an incoming cohort of The Achievement Award Program (TAAP) Scholars and Alumni Scholars Program staff traveled to Pinecrest for a weekend at the Lair of the Golden Bear. The result—a weekend of bonding, hikes to the lake, sunshine, and of course, s’mores.
